About the CRITIC Project

The CRITIC project aims to generate new knowledge to enhance information security and cybersecurity in Spanish industry and the broader economy. This will be achieved through research into disruptive technologies that enable the protection, assessment, and secure operation of connected industrial devices.

Specific Objectives

The project focuses on the following lines of research and technological innovation:

Advanced protection mechanisms for connected electronic devices.

Device identity management and protection mechanisms based on advanced cryptography.

Development of novel cybersecurity evaluation technologies.

Application of Reinforcement Learning (RL) techniques for threat detection and response.

Implementation of Zero Trust Architecture and Automated Moving Target Defense mechanisms.

SOAR automates IoT security, integrates defenses, and leverages IoCs for real-time threat response.

Innovative strategies and technologies for vulnerability management.

Consortium Partners

The project, which is carried out in consortium, involves the companies LKS, S.COOP., TECNOLOGIAS PLEXUS SL, NEXTRET, S.L., ORBIK CYBERSECURITY SL and CACTUS ENGINEERING SL and the research organizations IKERLAN S.COOP, FUNDACION CENTRO TECNOLOXICO DE TELECOMUNICACION DE GALICIA and MONDRAGON GOI ESKOLA POLITEKNIKOA JOSE MARIA ARIZMENDIARRIETA S.COOP.
