ORBIK Cybersecurity joins Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on his mission to India for AI Impact Summit 2026

Our participation adds a distinctive dimension to the visit by combining our technological cooperative startup DNA from MONDRAGON with our role as a national benchmark in industrial cybersecurity.

As a cooperative startup and a reference in industrial cybersecurity, we are taking part this week in the institutional visit to India led by the Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, on the occasion of the AI Impact Summit 2026, one of the world’s leading forums on the impact of artificial intelligence on industry, the economy, and society.

In this context, we had the opportunity to showcase our AI-powered product cybersecurity solutions, designed to ensure regulatory compliance and integrated into our own platform that supports the entire product lifecycle — from design to operation and maintenance.

Cybersecurity is a key enabler for the trustworthy deployment of AI, and ORBIK’s solutions help protect critical infrastructure essential to people and society. Our platform is currently being used to enhance the cybersecurity of IBERDROLA’s electrical substations in the energy sector, CAF’s connected electronic systems in the rail sector, and leading companies in Advanced Machinery and Industrial Automation.

ORBIK Cybersecurity participated in the visit with the support of MONDRAGON, the world’s largest industrial cooperative group, within the framework of its commitment to driving technological innovation and fostering new business development in future-oriented sectors.

The mission strengthens international technological cooperation and highlights the strategic role of AI and cybersecurity as key enablers of digital transformation, particularly in industrial sectors moving toward more connected, automated, and data-driven models.

“Collaboration between industry, innovation, and public-private cooperation is crucial to addressing the global challenges of digitalization. Initiatives like this enable knowledge-sharing and the creation of joint development opportunities,” said Salvador Trujillo, CEO of ORBIK Cybersecurity.

ORBIK Cybersecurity has been selected alongside leading companies such as Kaleidos, Libelium, Lookiero, Multiverse Computing, 1MillionBot, Sateliot, Sherpa AI, Submer, and VisualNacert, which accompanied Pedro Sánchez in this visit organized by Spain’s Minister for Digital Transformation and Public Administration, Óscar López Águeda.

The visit takes place as part of the Spain–India Dual Year 2026, a context in which both countries are promoting a high-level technological alliance to strengthen institutional and business collaboration in AI.
