Requirements
New requirements to be enforced in 2024
On November 30th, 2023, the European Union (EU) reached a political agreement on the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), marking it as the first-ever worldwide law to regulate the cybersecurity of digital and interconnected products designed for the EU market. This law is applied to all economic operators involved in the life cycle chain of “products with digital elements”, i.e. manufacturers as well as their authorized representatives, importers and distributors with most of the obligations imposed on manufacturers.
